Dalton Education and Merrill Lynch Serve as Signature Sponsors of CFP Board’s Registered Program Conference
The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. today announced that Dalton Education and Merrill Lynch are signature sponsors for this year’s Registered Program Conference being held February 21-22 in Arlington, Va.
“Each year, the Registered Programs Conference yields valuable opportunities to make connections with other educators. With the addition of the student track this year, we’re looking forward to engaging with those who are on their journey toward CFP® certification as well,” said Joe Gillice, CPA, CFP®, Dalton Education President. “We’re proud to sponsor this event once again.”
The conference will bring together program directors and faculty from institutions that deliver professional financial planning education for individuals pursuing CFP® certification, offering opportunities to connect with each other and firms to share best practices for strengthening the talent pipeline. A new student track will explore topics such as the path to CFP® certification, pro bono financial planning and trending issues in financial planning.
“As the leading employer of CFP® professionals, Merrill Lynch has a stake in helping future certificants gain a top-notch education to prepare them to be skilled practitioners,” said Tim Gillespie, Wealth Management Advisor Development Executive, Merrill Lynch. “The Registered Programs Conference is an important event for financial planning educators, financial services leaders and students, and is a natural fit for our participation as a signature sponsor.”
