Notice of Assignment of, and Modification to, Terms and Conditions of Certification and Trademark License, Effective February 17, 2023

This notice of assignment of, and modification to, the Terms and Conditions of Certification and Trademark License (“Terms and Conditions”) is being provided pursuant to paragraphs (t)(1), (t)(2), and (t)(6) of the Terms and Conditions.

On January 23, 2023, Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. changed its name to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. (“CFP Board Center for Financial Planning”). CFP Board Center for Financial Planning has assigned the Terms and Conditions to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards., Inc. (“CFP Board of Standards”), an organization that was formed on January 23, 2023. CFP Board of Standards has modified the Terms and Conditions to reflect this change.

CFP Board of Standards encourages all CFP® professionals to familiarize themselves with the modified Terms and Conditions.
