Linda Y. Leitz, Ph.D, CFP®, EA

Linda Y. Leitz is the founder and a co-owner of Peace of Mind Financial Planning, Inc. Before becoming a financial planning professional, Linda held managerial positions in the banking industry. She began her career as a bank examiner. Linda earned her CFP® certification in 1997 and Enrolled Agent in 2001.

Linda is active in several community and professional activities. She was appointed to serve on CFP Board’s Commission on Standards from 2016 to 2017 and its Standards Resource Commission from 2018 to 2023. She is past Chair of the National Board of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and also served on NAPFA’s West Region Board of Directors.

Linda has a Ph.D. in personal financial planning from Kansas State University, an MBA from Southern Methodist University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Principia College.
