Don Grant, CFP®

Don Grant, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in Wichita, Kansas, is a former U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer originally from California. He started as an enlisted Photographic Intelligence Specialist aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CV-62) before receiving his commission.

Don’s primary education was in broadcast media and journalism, and he worked at TV news stations nationwide in various roles including producer, photographer, business reporter and primary anchor.

In 2002, Don transitioned to finance, joining Smith Barney. In 2013 he merged his financial planning practice with a boutique firm, leading to his current Principal Partner position at Sabre Wealth.

Active in his community, Don has served on and led several boards, including the Kansas Aviation Museum, Wichita Art Museum, Wichita Festivals, Students in Free Enterprise at WSU, Financial Freedom Foundation and the Wichita Wagonmasters. Don holds a B.A. in Communications and Psychology from California State University–Sacramento.
