Laura J. LaTourette, CFP®

Laura LaTourette is the founder of Family Wealth Management Group and has been a CFP® Professional since 2003. Laura’s practice focuses on financial life planning, wealth management and legacy planning. She is grateful to serve women, the LGBTQ+ community, professors and entrepreneurs as clients nationwide.

Laura is deeply committed to elevating inclusion, belonging, diversity, equity, and accessibility in the financial services industry. Along with being a CFP Board Ambassador, she serves as a CFP Board mentor.

Laura was an inaugural member of the Advisor Inclusion Council (AIC) with LPL Financial. She’s a SAGE Ambassador, focusing on LGBTQ elders’ issues. She’s been active in the Financial Planning Association (FPA) for many years, including as a PridePlanners Knowledge Circles Host, bringing together LGBTQ members and allies. She is also a member of FPA’s DEI committee. She’s been on many local and national boards that focus on women’s issues. In 2007, Laura served as the national president of Women in Insurance and Financial Services.

Laura lives on a farm with her wife, Susan, at the foothills of the Appalachians and cares for an array of animals, including llamas. She is a grandmother to four incredible humans and strives to live life fully every day.
