Shashin G. Shah provides advanced wealth planning services to executives and small business owners as a Managing Director at SFMG Wealth Advisors in Plano, Texas.

He is a former three-time Board member for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Dallas/Fort Worth and has been featured in interviews by Money magazine, Business Week, Smart Money, The Wall Street Journal, Dallas Morning News and USA Today. He has appeared on “NBC Nightly News.” He also sits on the Board of Directors for the CFA Society of Dallas/Forth Worth.

Shashin has been named to D Magazine’s list of Best Financial Planners consecutively every year since 2006 and is also on D Magazine’s list of Top Wealth Managers. He has received the FPA Honors Award and the FPA Chairman’s Award, and was nominated for the FPA’s highest honor, The Heart of Financial Planning Award. SFMG Wealth Advisors was recognized on the FT 300 List for the top 300 RIA firms in the U.S. Shashin was named to Advisor Hub’s Top 100 RIA Advisors to Watch in 2023.
